Penyuluhan Dan Praktik Cuci Tangan Pakai Sabun (Ctps) Pada Anak-Anak Di Tk Dharwasi Kelurahan Nonbes Kecamatan Amarasi Kabupaten Kupang

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) such as Handwashing with Soap (CTPS) can be carried out in all environmental settings in society, including in the educational environment, namely in schools. Early childhood education such as Dharwasi Kindergarten (TK) which is located in Nonbes Village, Amarasi District, Kupang Regency is a vehicle for education that is very fundamental in providing a basic framework for the formation and development of basic knowledge, attitudes and skills in children, therefore it is necessary to do health development for PAUD children in order to maintain and improve the quality of the assets of the nation and State of Indonesia. The general goal of Community Service is that the children of Dharwasi Kindergarten, Nonbes Village, Amarasi District, Kupang Regency can play an active role in CTPS to maintain individual health both in the school environment and in the community environment. The specific objective is to form knowledge, awareness and behavior of Dharwasi Kindergarten children about CTPS. The methods used in Community Service are counseling, simulations, and CTPS practice. The results obtained from Community Service are the formation of knowledge, awareness and behavior of Dharwasi Kindergarten children about CTPS. The conclusion obtained is that the knowledge of Dharwasi Kindergarten children about CTPS is 30.7% including good criteria, the awareness of Dharwasi Kindergarten children about CTPS is 100% including good criteria and the behavior of Dharwasi Kindergarten children regarding CTPS is 61.5% including good criteria. The advice that can be given is that it is necessary to carry out counseling about CTPS continuously to further improve the knowledge and practice of Kindergarten children so they can do CTPS correctly and it is necessary to provide guidance and assistance from teachers for Kindergarten children who have not been able to practice CTPS properly
