Penyuluhan dan Praktik Pemilahan Jenis Sampah Pada Anak-Anak di Tk Mentari Kota Kupang
Abstract
Clean and Healthy Living Behavior regarding waste sorting and disposal is one of the efforts to eradicate infectious disease vectors. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior can be carried out in educational environments. Kindergarten is a very fundamental educational vehicle in providing the basic framework for the formation and development of basic knowledge, attitudes and skills in children, therefore it is necessary to provide health development for kindergarten children in order to maintain and improve the quality of the nation's assets and Indonesian country. The general aim of Community Service is so that Mentari Kindergarten children can play an active role in sorting types of waste and maintaining the health of the school environment. The specific aim is to form knowledge, awareness and behavior of Mentari Kindergarten children regarding sorting types of waste. The methods used are counseling, simulation and practice of sorting types of waste as well as distributing hygienic packages and stickers. The results obtained are the formation of knowledge, awareness and behavior of Mentari Kindergarten children regarding sorting types of waste into good categories. Suggestions that can be given are that it is necessary to carry out continuous counseling and guidance regarding sorting types of waste to further increase the knowledge and practice of kindergarten children so that they can sort waste types correctly.
