PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT KELURAHAN FATUFETO KECAMATAN ALAK TENTANG PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH

Abstract

Background: Waste is unwanted or useless waste resulting from daily human activities or natural processes. Community empowerment is crucial so that waste can be processed into something valuable. Methods: This activity was carried out in the form of socialization and counseling using leaflets.  Results: Twelve residents of Fatufeto sub-district, Alak district, have received education on the definition of waste, its types, the spread of waste-related diseases, and waste management. This education can also have a positive impact on waste management. Conclusion: Community outreach programs in Fatufeto sub-district, Alak district, provide education on waste management. It is hoped that these activities can be implemented sustainably.
