Types of Manuscripts
Original Article
This is the most important type of article because it provides new information based on original research.
Review Article
Reviews prepared by authors who have extensive knowledge of a particular field and whose scientific background has translated into a large number of publications with high citation potential will be accepted. These authors may even be invited by the journal. Reviews should describe, discuss, and evaluate the current state of knowledge on a topic in clinical practice and should serve as a guide for future research.
Script Components
Research articles consist of: Title, author's name, abstract in Indonesian, keywords, introduction, research method, results and discussion, conclusion, and Bibliography.
Review articles consist of: Title, author names, abstract in English, Keywords, Introduction, research methods, results and discussion, Conclusions, and References.
Authors must attach a plagiarism check document (can use Turnitin, iThenticket or others). The maximum similarity tolerated is 20%.
II. WRITING GUIDE
Title
The title is written in Indonesian and is informative, concise, and not too long or short (10-25 words).
Consists of the variables studied and describes the contents of the manuscript.
The title does not contain abbreviations or formulas.
The title page should contain only the title of the manuscript. Author names should be removed to ensure double-blinding of the manuscript during the peer review process.
Abstract
The abstract is written concisely, about the most important ideas and contains the research problem or objectives, research methods, and research results.
Written in Indonesian with a maximum of 300-350 words.
Keywords contain main words.
Introduction
The introduction is presented in an integrated manner without subtitles. Written in paragraph form with the following contents:
Background or reason for the research.
Theoretical basis (brief literature review).
Research purposes.
Research methods
This method is written with the following content:
Research design.
Data collection techniques and data sources.
Data analysis methods.
Results and Discussion
The results are the main part of a scientific article which contains:
Data analysis results.
Hypothesis testing results.
Can be presented with tables or graphs to clarify the results verbally.
Discussion is an important part of the entire scientific article. The purpose of the discussion is: to answer research problems, interpret findings, integrate research findings into existing knowledge, and formulate new theories or modify existing theories.
The serial numbers used are numbers 1, 2, 3, and so on, no need to use composite numbers. Hyphens must not change the serial number.
Conclusion
Contains conclusions and recommendations.
The conclusion contains answers to research questions.
Recommendations refer to research results and forms of practical action, specify to whom and for what the recommendations are intended.
Written in essay form, not in numerical form.
Table
Please submit tables as editable text and not as images. Tables can be placed alongside the relevant text in the article, or on a separate page at the end. Number the tables consecutively as they appear in the text and place table notes below the body of the table. Be careful in the use of tables and ensure that the data presented in them do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article. Please avoid using vertical lines and shading in table cells.
Number
Make sure each illustration has a caption. Provide the caption separately, not attached to the figure. The caption should consist of a short title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep text on the illustration itself to a minimum, but explain any symbols and abbreviations used.
Reference
The main references are national journals, international journals, and proceedings. All references must refer to the most relevant and current sources:
Contains literature referenced in the content, arranged alphabetically, and written in the APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition system.
Written in full, according to the references in the content.
Only load literature referenced in the content.
At least 80% of reference sources come from literature published in the last 10 years.
At least 80% of references come from research articles in journals or research reports.
The reference format is APA (American Psychological Association) style 6th edition, it is better to use Reference Manager (Mendeley, Zotero or Endnote, etc.).
